	"Evening of Wines and Food" Green Turtle Club started out our holiday season with a wine tasting on the 20th of December. Brenda Claridge from Tupps came to enlighten us about the 6 new wines that we have added to our wine list and are offerring for sale in our Chandlery. The kitchen staff, truly outdid themselves again, and the foods that were paired with the different wines had everyone raving. We limited the number of participants to 30 and introduced 6 new wines including the very popular La Crema Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast and the richly textured and flavorful Firesteed Pinot Gris. Set up throughout the area were some of the latest artworks by Leanne Russell, who is quickly becoming well known for her beautiful paintings. Leanne helped out with the wine tasting and then was available to discuss her new pieces and had prints for sale. Thanks to Brenda from Tupp's Wine Sales and the kitchen and bar staff at the Green Turtle Club for putting on such a great event, the term casual elegance describes it perfectly. 	22nd Annual Green Turtle Club Fishing Tournament We are getting excited about our 22nd Annual Green Turtle Club Fishing Tournament. Sue Graves is running the tournament and you can view the information and application on our website www.greenturtleclub.com The tournament will be held on the 9th through the 12th of June 2009. Will be an exciting and fun filled event!
